1985 Holden VK Commodore SS Group A Formula Blue

One of the iconic cars from HDT in the mid 80's was the VK Group A. Only 502 of these thoroughbreds were ever produced.

The Formula Blue Group A, as modeled by Biante, featured the HDT modified 4.9 litre pushrod V8, with HDT Cold Air Induction system and chrome air cleaner cover, producing 196kw @ 5200rpm.

Internally, the VK was quite a simple car, designed for only one thing - racing.  Any unnecessary luxuries for the racing version never made it to the road car, with the exception of a two speaker tape deck. The interior in the Biante replica is highly detailed, right down to the velour and wool tweed seat trim.
Officially licensed by HDT, the HDT VK Commodore Group  A modeled in Formula Blue will be available in November 2008.

Poseable steering, with feedback through the steering wheel.
Faithfully replicated interior, with material feel seats and carpet flooring.
Highly detailed 4.9 litre V8 engine.
