In its day, the Holden Commodore VL SS Group A was Australia's hottest production saloon.

Only 500 of the Group A, with updated Unleaded V8 powerplant, were ever produced, using the 137Kw V8 too accelerate from 0-100kph in 8 seconds flat.
The interior of the VL Group A was unlike any previous SS Commodore produced. Sports seats, remote mirrors, AM/FM radio/cassette - it had it all.
