In the Classic Carlectables Newsletter there is a sneak preview of 2 new models which are going to be produced in 1:18 scale

Mark Winterbottom's Year 2007 FPR Ford Cobra BF Falcon, Bahrain International Circuit.

This model will be limited to 1825  and will be available in the third quarter of 2009.
It will be priced at $205.


Also in the newsletter there are details of the 1983 Bathurst Winner of Peter Brock and Larry Perkins. It is the Holden VH Commodore #25.



After qualifying  on pole Peter Brock led from the start in the #05 HDT car, by the end of lap three Brock was five seconds in front of the second placed John Harvey in the #25 HDT car.
 Brock made it look easy till the end of lap eight when a huge puff of smoke appeared at the end of Conrod Straight. Brock slowed and headed for the pits. A bent valve had finished the #05 campaign.

On lap twenty Harvey brought the #25 HDT car into the pits to hand over to Brock. In great controversy Brock re-entered the race in 5th place in the #25 HDT car.
Brock regained the lead on lap 48. Brock and co-driver Larry Perkins were never challenged again and led the great race for the rest of the day.

Peter Brock had won his seventh Bathurst.

Both these models will be very sought after.
