After claiming pole position at Bathurst in 1973 and victory in 1974, John Goss was confirmed as the hard-charging Ford privateer out to challenge the big factory teams. For the 1978 Hardie-Ferodo, John brought out for a second time European legend and multiple Le Mans winner Henri Pescarolo to partner him in the 1000km event.
