Even with Turbo and weight restrictions imposed on them by the sports governing body at the beginning
of the year in an attempt to slow them, the GT-R in the hands of Mark Skaife and Jim Richards wiped the floor
with the competition, finishing one-two in the Championship and going on to win Bathurst in the same year.
