1984 Bathurst Mazda RX-7 - #30 Kavich/Alexander

The above model in 1:18 scale has just arrived.

It is model number BNH0003 and is priced at $195

The 1984 James Hardie 1000 saw a diverse range of cars entered to tackle the mountain, and the number 30 entry of
Tony Kavich and Phil Alexander with their striking Yellow Pages backed RX-7, was no exception.

This RX-7 was one of the best looking cars on the grid, but Kavich and Alexander didn't set the world on fire in practice, qualifying
a distant 43rd. Luck certainly wasn't on their side during the race either when the car was classed as a non finisher after
117 laps, with the car having gearbox and engine seal issues.

Despite the car not having the best race, it still has the potentiol to be a real head turner for any collection.
